Sinn Féin criticise parade ruling
Sinn Féin has criticised the Parades Commission's decision to allow an Orange Order parade to pass through the mainly nationalist Ardoyne area in north Belfast on the Twelfth of July.
Sinn Fein assembly member Gerry Kelly said the decision was "absolutely wrong".
"The Orange Order time and time again have clearly broken the restrictions placed upon it by the commission, yet the very same commission fails to sanction them," he said.
While the parade will be allowed to pass through the area in the morning, restrictions have been placed on the marchers in the evening with only lodges being allowed to walk back.
The commission said that if these requirements were met then next year's police presence would be reduced.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.

Detectives in Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on a 5G mast in the Andersonstown Road area. The incident occurred around 9.55pm on Wednesday, November 13th. Detective Sergeant Faulkner confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who successfully extinguished the blaze.
