Appeal For Information On Newry Petrol Bomb Attack
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of a petrol bomb incident in Newry on Tuesday, 13 August.
Shortly after 00:20am, it was reported to police that three men approached a white BMW car parked in the Helen's Terrace area. It was reported that one man smashed a window of the vehicle and another man set alight an object and placed it into the car. One man made off towards Pigtail Avenue, as two of the men head towards Clanrye Avenue. The vehicle is completely burnt out following the incident.
Two men then exit a property in the Clanrye Avenue area upon hearing the car window smashed and approached the two men. It was reported that one of the men threw an unconfirmed fluid over one of the occupants, while the other man throws a petrol bomb at the front door of the property.
Neither of the occupants were injured during the incident, but were left badly shaken.
Detective Sergeant Lewis said: "Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and police would appeal to anyone with any information to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 20 13/08/24. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."

Detectives have appealed for information following the report of a stabbing incident at College Square East in Belfast City Centre. On Wednesday 12 June, the PSNI stated that there is reason to believe an altercation involving three men occurred in the area shortly before 4.30pm, which resulted in one of the men sustaining a stab wound to his neck.

Man Arrested In Connection With Dromara Assault
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a report of an assault at licenced premises at the Rathfriland Road area of Dromara. Detective Inspector Bell said: "Shortly before 10:10pm on Friday 15th December, it was reported that an altercation occurred at a bar in the area following three men refused entry to the premises.

Two Men Attacked With Baseball Bats In Co Antrim
Two 18-year-old men have been attacked with baseball bats in Whitehead, Co Antrim. The victims were closing premises in the Balmoral Avenue area at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 04 October when three men assaulted them. Both men were treated in hospital for their injuries. One has been discharged, and the other remains in hospital.
