Alliance Congratulates Students On A-Level Results Day
Nick Mathison MLA, Alliance Education Spokesperson and Chair of the Education Committee, has congratulated students across Northern Ireland for their hard work as A-Level results are released.
Acknowledging the dedication required to achieve such results, Mr. Mathison described it as a "significant achievement."
In a statement, the Strangford MLA said: "Today, I want to extend my congratulations to all students in Northern Ireland for their hard work and dedication in achieving their A-Level results. Attaining your A-Level results is a significant achievement, and I hope that many of you will be able to pursue your desired paths.
"The next few months are the start of a new exciting journey and every individual's journey is unique. Many opportunities are waiting ahead, and if you did not receive the results you were expecting support is available to help you decide on your next steps.

Man Extradited From US Over Historical Child Sex Abuse
A 68-year-old man has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for a series of indecent assaults on a child in the 1970s. Damien Desmond Anderson, originally from L'Derry, was extradited from the US to face justice. He was convicted of 12 counts of indecent assault against a female who was 11 years old at the time of the abuse.
