PSNI Name Ballymena Crash Victim
A woman who died following a road traffic collision in Ballymena on Tuesday 3rd September has been named as 44-year-old Eileen Thornton from the Broughshane area.
PSNI Inspector Cherith Adair from the Police Service's Collision Investigation Unit said: "We received a report shortly after 8pm of a single-vehicle collision on the Cushendall Road.
"Officers attended the scene along with our colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, however Eileen sadly passed away later in hospital. "Our thoughts are with the family at this time and an investigation is now underway to establish the circumstances.
"The Collision Investigation Unit is appealing to anyone who may have any information which may assist with our investigation, or who may have been travelling in the area at the time and captured any dash-cam or other footage, to get in touch on 101, quoting reference number 1515 03/09/24."

Pedestrian Dies Following Road Traffic Collision Ikn West Belfast
A female pedestrian in her 70s has tragically died following a road traffic collision in west Belfast on Saturday, 9th November. The incident occurred on Hannahstown Hill shortly after 6:50pm when two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle. Emergency services attended the scene, and the injured pedestrians were taken to hospital.
