Appeal Issued After Teenager Sexually Assaulted On Belfast Bus
Police have issued an appeal after a teenage girl was assaulted on a bus in Belfast.
The girl was travelling on a bus between Belfast and Dunmurry at around 7.40pm on Friday, 30 August.
A PSNI spokesperson said they want to speak to a man described as having short hair, a beard and wearing a dark-coloured tracksuit and light-coloured shoes. The spokesperson continued: "Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious should call Police on 101 and quote reference 711 of 01/09/24. You can report online here: www.psni.police.uk/report."

The bus strike "is back on", the GMB Union has announced after their members rejected a revised pay offer. The union has said that drivers, cleaners and shunters across the company will walk out for seven days from 17 to 23 May 2022, "causing the entire bus network to grind to a halt".

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man and a woman were assaulted during an incident in which a bus lane camera was attacked in west Belfast. The camera was attached to a car in the Falls Road area on Tuesday, 17 April.

Taxis To Be Permitted To Use Bus Lanes
Taxis will be permitted to use bus lanes on the Belfast Rapid Transit (BRT) routes from next Monday, 20 February. The 12-week trial basis will apply to the bus lanes on the East and West Belfast Rapid Transit routes and the 12 hour bus lanes in the city centre, which link the two routes.

Appeal Issued After Man Trapped Under Bus In Belfast
Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian was struck by a bus in Belfast city centre on Saturday, 23 September. The incident happened at Custom House Square at around 11.30am. Emergency services attended the scene and heavy lifting equipment was used to free the man who was trapped under the bus.
