Appeal Following Deliberate Fire In Moneyreagh

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a fire, believed to have been started deliberately, in Moneyreagh.

Just after 11.30pm on Friday, 20th September, police received a report from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) that they were attending a fire at Ballybeen Road, Moneyreagh.

Officers attended and it was established that the fire had been started deliberately in a commercial yard, causing extensive damage to a stables, a static caravan and two unused outbuildings.

No persons or animals were inside the buildings.

Making the appeal, Inspector Burke said: "We are treating this attack as arson.

"Our enquiries are ongoing and I would appeal to anyone who may be able to assist with our investigation, particularly anyone with CCTV, dashcam or other relevant footage, to contact us on 101, quoting reference 1927 of 20/09/24."

PSNI Investigating Arson Of Greenisland Church
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a fire at a church and church hall in Greenisland last night, Sunday 1st September. At approximately 9.10pm, police received a report of a fire at the property on the Station Road. Police and the Northern Ireland Fire Service attended and the blaze was extinguished.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following an arson attack on a property in Ballynahinch in the early hours of this morning, Thursday 6 April. At approximately 2.30am, police received a report of a fire at an upstairs flat in the Windmill Drive area of the town.

Appeal Following Arson Attack In South Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following an arson attack at a property in south Belfast. At approximately 10.20pm on Saturday, 13 April, police received a report of a fire at a house in the Kilburn Street area. Police attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.
