Man Attacked In Newtownards
A man has sustained a broken nose and fractures to his eye socket after being attacked in Newtownards.
The assault occurred in the Talbot Street area on Monday, 23 September. A PSNI spokesperson said: "It was reported that the victim, who is aged in his 40s, had been walking through a car park at the corner of Talbot Street and the Crawfordsburn Road, when he was assaulted by four people who were dressed in dark coloured clothing.
"It is unclear at this stage if any weapons were used by the assailants during the attack.
"The victim was taken to hospital where he received medical treatment for his injuries.
"Our investigation is ongoing, and we are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time, and witnessed what happened, or who may have any information which might assist, to get in touch."

'Broad Daylight' Stab Victim 'Stable'
As a 25-year-old Belfast stabbing victim remains seriously ill in hospital, a local MLA has called for greater cooperation with the police. The man - who is being treated for stomach wounds - was attacked at a house at Epworth Street in east Belfast during daylight hours at about 1.30pm on Saturday. His condition is described as stable.

A man has been injured after being attacked by masked men in Co Antrim. Three individuals, who were armed with bats, assaulted the man in an alleyway in Greenland in Carrickfergus on Tuesday, 31 May. The victim sustained injuries to his arm and side. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Appeal Issued To Woman Who Helped Assault Victim
An appeal has been issued following the assault of man in the early hours of Sunday morning, 11 March. A man, aged in his 30s, was attacked by up to three men at about 2am in the Glenabbey area of the city. He was treated in hospital for injuries to his face and arm.

A man has been attacked by four masked men in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. The man, believed to be in his 20s, was shot in the arms and legs, in the early hours of Thursday morning. The victim tried to escape from the house on Maple Drive where he was attacked, however he was chased by the thugs who shot him again outside the property.
