New Digital Campaign Offers Mental Health Resources

A digital campaign has been launched to provide individuals with access to self-help resources and tools for mental health and wellbeing.

Supported by the Department of Health and Digital Health & Care NI, the campaign features a curated selection of mental health and wellbeing apps available on the HSC Apps Library. These apps offer valuable information and advice on a range of topics, including anxiety, depression, stress, sleep, and meditation.

The campaign was officially launched at the Northern Ireland Confederation for Health and Social Care (NICON) conference on Wednesday.

The initiative aims to empower individuals to take proactive steps towards improving their mental health by providing convenient and accessible digital resources.

Health Minister Mike Nesbitt said: "This is an example of the use of digital innovation to provide timely and targeted mental health support.

"It recognises that digital technologies offer an alternative way of providing mental health support by offering increased choice, availability and access, alongside traditional mental health service delivery.

"Moving from an analogue to a digital health and social care system is one of the major shifts in healthcare delivery that will produce better outcomes for all."
