Plane damaged at Belfast International Airport
An easyJet aircraft has been damaged on Belfast International Airport's runway today while readying for departure.
The Amsterdam-bound easyJet aircraft, which contained 139 passengers, was damaged when one of the luggage vehicles collided with the 9.30am flight.
No one on board the aircraft was injured during the incident. The airline is making alternative arrangements.
A spokesperson for the airport said engineers were currently assessing the damage to the aircraft.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.
