Man shot in paramilitary-style attack
A 28-year-old man has been treated in hospital for a gunshot wound to his ankle following a paramilitary-style shooting in Co Londonderry last night.
The man was found lying on a grass area at Drumleck Drive at around 12.25am. His car, a blue Peugeot 306, was later found burnt out in the townland of Carrowreagh near Bridgend.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who saw this car in the Londonderry or Coshquin areas and are also appealing for information about a gold coloured Mitsubishi Gallant car that may have been in the Drumleck, Coshquin or Bridgend areas at the time of the incident.

Driver killed as car collides with lamppost
A 22-year-old man has been killed in a road traffic accident in Belfast. The accident occurred on the King's Road in Knock area shortly before midnight on Monday October 28. The man, who has not yet been named, died when his car struck a lamppost. No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the accident.

New Child Car Seat Legislation Introduced
