Organisations Appointed For Belfast PEACEPLUS Projects

Several organisations have been chosen to deliver key projects as part of Belfast City Council's £15.1 million PEACEPLUS Local Community Action Plan.

The plan is funded by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

The appointed partners include People 1st, Active Communities Network, NICVA and community partners, Streetbeat Youth Project, ArtsEkta, and Féile an Phobail. These organisations will deliver projects focused on areas such as employability skills for minority ethnic communities, building community partnerships through sport, empowering communities to shape their local areas, providing good relations and leadership training for young people, and promoting interculturalism through shared heritage and festivals.
