Police To Conduct Further Investigations At Fatal Newtownabbey Crash Scene
Officers from the PSNI's Collision Investigation Unit will be returning to the scene of a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the Doagh Road in Newtownabbey on Monday, 13th January.
Further testing is scheduled to be carried out by investigators on Wednesday, 23rd April. As a result, the Doagh Road will be closed to traffic for several hours from 9.30 pm onwards. During the road closure, diversions will be in place at the junctions of Station Road and Shore Road, and these will be clearly signposted for motorists.
The PSNI has stated that access will be facilitated for local residents in the affected area where possible, as well as for emergency services.
The Collision Investigation Unit expressed their gratitude to the public and local residents for their understanding and patience as this essential testing is conducted.
