Biker In His 20s Injured Following Cregagh Road Crash

A man in his twenties has been taken to hospital with head, shoulder, and foot injuries following a collision on the Cregagh Road in east Belfast yesterday evening, Sunday 27th April.

The incident, involving a silver BMW and an electric scrambler-style bike, occurred in the vicinity of Cregagh Court, which is located off the main Cregagh Road, shortly before 5pm.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended the scene and conveyed the injured biker to hospital for treatment. The driver of the car involved in the collision did not sustain any injuries.

The Cregagh Road was temporarily closed to traffic following the incident to allow emergency services to attend and for subsequent investigations to take place. The road has since been reopened.

Sergeant Fisher said: "We would appeal to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage to contact us. The number to call is 101, quoting reference number 1096 of 27/04/25."

Police are continuing their enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the collision.

Victim Of Fatal Road Collision In Co Antrim Named
The victim of a fatal road crash in Crumlin, Co Antrim, has been named as Emmanuel Caddell, police have confirmed. Mr Caddell, 22, died following the two-vehicle collision involving a car and a lorry on Monday, 10 April. The incident happened on the Manse Road at around 10.50am. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
