Police Investigate Sectarian Vandalism Of Walker's Plinth

Police in L'Derry are investigating an incident of criminal damage to Walker's Plinth on the city's historic Walls after paint bombs were thrown at it.

The incident was reported to police shortly before 6:40 pm on Tuesday evening, 29 April. Officers are treating the vandalism as a sectarian hate crime.

It is believed that a number of individuals were involved in the incident, which is thought to have occurred between 6:20 pm and 6:40 pm that evening.

Police enquiries are currently ongoing, and they are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information or dashcam footage that could assist with their investigation.

Police Investigate Shooting Incident In L'Derry
Detectives are appealing for information after a young man was shot in the Creggan area on Wednesday night, November 27th. Shortly after 10:10 PM, police received a report that the man, in his late teens, had been shot in the leg. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police Investigate 'KKK Costumes' As Hate Incident
