Chinese murder victim identified
A Chinese woman who was found dead in the boot of a car in June has been identified.
Police discovered the body of Qu Mei Na, 22, after they stopped a vehicle at a checkpoint on the Antrim Road in north Belfast on June 3.
Murder detectives journeyed to the woman's home city of Dalian in north-eastern China earlier this week in a bid to establish the victim's identity. Dental records there were used to formally identify her.
Police say they plan to return the woman's body back to her elderly parents who are said to be devastated by the news.
Two men were remanded in custody in June charged in connection with the woman's murder.
