Europa Hotel in robbery incident
A substantial amount of money has been stolen from one of Northern Ireland's most famous hotels.
The incident at the Europa Hotel in Belfast occurred at around 2.30am on Monday when three men forced their way into the premises.
The men then pushed four members of staff into a back office where they then demanded money from the safe before stealing a security recording system as they fled.
No one was injured in the attack however police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Dies In Fermanagh Crash
A man has died following the serious road collision that occurred on the Dublin Road at Enniskillen, County Fermanagh. The incident happened close to the Killyhevlin hotel, shortly before 8am this morning. A PSNI spokesperson said a car and a van were involved in the crash.

Man Seriously Ill Following 'Violent Incident' In Belfast
A man is seriously ill in hospital following a violent incident in Belfast city centre. Police were called to Great Victoria Street just before 5am this morning, 08 September, following reports a man had become violent. The man's injuries were sustained during the incident. The road remains closed between the Europa Hotel and the Grand Opera House.

Benefit Fraudsters Given Prison Terms
Two people have been handed down prison sentences for separate cases of benefit fraud. A woman was convicted at Dungannon Magistrates' court earlier this week for claiming benefits she was not entitled to. She is Mary Campbell, 52, of Loughview Gardens, Coalisland, Co Tyrone.

Two arrests after campervan hijacking
Two men have been arrested as part of an inquiry into the hijacking of a campervan in County Louth. The owners of the vehicle were attacked at the Carrickdale Hotel in Co Louth, when it crossed the border into the Irish Republic. PSNI officers investigating the incident later found the campervan on fire over the border on Drumintee Road near Meigh.
