Unified Integrates Council Scheme To Enhance Antrim Business Security
Unified Integrated Systems is helping Antrim's local businesses bolster security through a newly expanded, council-funded CCTV grant programme.
In partnership with Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, this initiative empowers business owners to install externally-facing CCTV systems at little to no cost—providing critical protection without straining budgets.
Under Phase 2 of the CCTV Grant Programme, eligible businesses can receive up to £2,500 (covering up to 75% of installation costs) towards high-quality CCTV equipment, complete with professional setup and monitoring integration. Unified is proud to act as an approved provider on the scheme, delivering smart, monitored systems that link directly to its 24/7 monitoring station.
"Security should never be a luxury," said Aaron Ashton, Technical Director at Unified. "Thanks to the council's funding scheme, more Antrim businesses can now access robust surveillance without compromising on quality or continuity." These professionally installed solutions not only deter crime but also ensure immediate response via Unified's remote monitoring centre. Clients gain access to live feeds and real-time alerts through an intuitive app—combining council support with cutting-edge technology for unmatched peace of mind.
Commenting on the initiative, Mayor Leah Kirkpatrick, said: "I'm delighted that numerous local businesses … have received support through the CCTV Grant Programme. The addition of CCTV … will enhance security and offer greater peace of mind to business owners …."
