Fourth Person Dies Following Maguiresbridge Shooting
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has confirmed that a fourth person has now died following the shooting incident in Maguiresbridge that occurred on Wednesday, 23 July.
Ian Rutledge, aged 43, passed away on Monday, 28 July, after being hospitalised in a serious condition since the incident.
His death follows those of Vanessa Whyte, 45, and her two children, James Rutledge, 14, and Sara Rutledge, 13, who also died in the incident. Detectives from the Major Investigation Team have reiterated their appeal for anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to come forward. Police can be contacted on 101, quoting reference number 276 of 23/07/25.

Appeal For Information Following Belfast Stabbing
Detectives have appealed for information following the report of a stabbing incident at College Square East in Belfast City Centre. On Wednesday 12 June, the PSNI stated that there is reason to believe an altercation involving three men occurred in the area shortly before 4.30pm, which resulted in one of the men sustaining a stab wound to his neck.

Appeal Following North Belfast Burglary
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a report of a burglary at residential premises at the Alliance Avenue area of North Belfast on Monday 1st January. Detective Sergeant Kitchen said: "Sometime between 1:30am and midday, it was reported to police that entry was gained to a house in the area.

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses and information following an incident in which a pipe bomb was thrown at a house in Granville Gardens in Banbridge shortly after 11pm last night, Monday 09 August. Police and ATO attended the scene and following examination, the device, which did not ignite, was declared viable.
