Man Arrested In West Belfast After Stop and Search
Police in west Belfast have arrested a man following the stop and search of a vehicle on Monday, 4 August.
Chief Inspector Pete Cunningham said that District Support Team officers were on patrol in the Stewartstown Road area shortly after 8.05pm when they observed a vehicle being driven erratically. The driver was seen throwing an item out of the window and initially failed to stop for police before pulling over in the Laurelbank area. Searches were conducted and a quantity of suspected Class A controlled drugs were seized.
The man, aged in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, including possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply, dangerous driving, and failing to stop for police. He was also arrested on suspicion of several other driving offences, including being an unaccompanied L driver and using a motor vehicle without insurance.
He remains in custody at this time, and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1624 4/8/25.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August.
