Three men arrested following robbery

Three men have been arrested following a robbery at a video rental shop on the outskirts of Belfast yesterday.

The incident happened at around 2.30pm on Monday when a man, armed with a hammer, was detained in the Xtravision shop at Kingsway in Dunmurry.

Police were immediately called and a further two men were arrested.

Detectives at Lisburn have appealed to anyone who was in the area of Kingsway at the time of the incident to contact them on 028 9065 0222.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping
Police have arrested two men on suspicion of kidnapping. The males, aged 33 and 31, were detained in Co L'Derry. It is believed there arrests are in connection with an incident in the city on Thursday, 26 October. No further details have been released.

Three Arrested In Connection With Ballymena Murder
Police are treating the death of a 69-year-old man from Ballymena as murder. The victim was discovered in the Drumtara area on Tuesday afternoon. Two men, aged 41 and 49, and a woman, 47, have been arrested and are in police custody. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
