Passengers rescued from burning train
Fifteen rail passengers and staff had to be rescued from a burning train in north Belfast on Thursday.
The blaze took hold in the engine compartment of the train which had to make an emergency stop at Greencastle on the outskirts of Belfast.
One family had to be hoisted to safety while the remaining passengers had to use ladders to dismount from the train and climb a steep bank onto the nearby motorway.
One passenger said he new something was wrong when guards began moving quickly through the train.
"The next thing we knew, we were told to get to the back of the train, then we noticed some smoke," he said.
No one was injured in the incident.

Train Services Disrupted By Security Alert In Lurgan
Train services have been disrupted by a security alert in Lurgan, County Armagh. Lake Street is closed between North Street and Victoria Street. The railway line between Lurgan and Moira has also been closed. Translink said replacement buses have been put in place for Enterprise passengers travelling between Belfast and Dublin.

Belfast City help boost bmi passenger numbers
Belfast City Airport has helped leading UK airline, bmi record a 21% increase in passenger numbers for the month of September. The company's Belfast route saw passenger numbers rise by 14% with the overall number of passengers flying on bmi airlines in September rising to 881,189. The overall monthly load factor also grew by 1% to 74%.
