Detectives Arrest Three Men Over Moygashel Bonfire Hate Display
Detectives investigating a hate display placed on a bonfire in Moygashel in July arrested three men during a proactive policing operation on Tuesday 25 August.
Mid Ulster District Commander Superintendent Peter Stevenson said: “A number of properties in the Moygashel area were searched and the men, aged 27, 38 and 51, were detained on suspicion of offences under Article 9 of the Public Order Order 1987.
All three are currently in police custody.
The investigation into the placing of the offensive materials onto the bonfire continues.”
Police said that, to date, one man arrested in July has been charged in connection with the display and has appeared in court.

Two Men Arrested Over Attempted Murder Of PSNI Officers
Two men have been arrested in Dublin in connection with the attempted murder of a two PSNI officers. The suspects, aged 29 and 32, have been detained under a European Arrest Warrant. The arrests were in connection with a bomb discovered attached to a police officer's vehicle in L'Derry in June 2015.

Omagh bomb investigators arrest three men
Three men have been arrested in the Republic of Ireland in connection with the Omagh bombing in 1998. One man in his 20s and another in his 30s were arrested in Monaghan on Sunday morning and a third man in 30s was arrested in Co Louth on Monday morning. The three men were taken to Carrickmacross Garda station to be questioned.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has strongly condemned a surge in "shocking and disgusting attacks" on its officers, reporting a high volume of assaults and vehicle ramming incidents over the last year. Deputy Chief Constable Bobby Singleton is calling for greater respect for officers, whose primary aim is to keep communities safe.

Malcolm McKeown: Police Make One Arrest
Detectives probing the fatal shooting of Malcolm McKeown outside a Co Down petrol station have arrested a man in his twenties. Mr McKeown, aged 54, was found dead in his car outside Dewart's Garage in Waringstown on Monday 19 August. He had been shot six times. The suspect, aged 26, has been taken to Musgrave Station for questioning.

Bulgarian Man Arrested In NI Over Murder In Native Country
A man from Bulgaria has been arrested in connection with a murder in his native country. The PSNI detained the suspect in Co Antrim on Sunday, 17 December, after a European Arrest Warrant was issued in Bulgaria. The 41-year-old appeared before Belfast Recorders Court on Monday, 18 December, and has been remanded in custody.
