Appeal After Takeaway Robbery In West Belfast
Police are appealing for information after cash was taken during a robbery at a fast food takeaway on Stewartstown Road, west Belfast, at about 10.45pm on Saturday, 19 September.
Detective Sergeant McGearty said: "Shortly after 10.45pm, it was reported that a man had entered the premises and ordered a member of staff to hand over cash. The man then made off with a sum of money, leaving on foot towards the Bell Steele Road junction. Thankfully, the staff member was not harmed.
"The male is described as wearing a black puffy coat with the hood up and a black face covering.
"Enquiries are continuing and we would ask anyone who might have any information which could assist to contact police using our witness appeal form at reporting.psni.police.uk/appeals quoting reference 1617 19/09/26 or call us on 101.

Renewed Appeal For Information On Bookmaker Robbery
The PSNI have renewed an appeal for information on the robbery of a bookmakers on Lecky Road in L'Derry on Saturday 26 March. A man, described as being around 6'2" tall and wearing a grey-hooded top and dark-coloured bottoms, entered the shop at around 4:10pm and approached the counter area where he struck a screen with an unidentified object.

At approximately 8.10pm, a masked male entered the shop in Moss Park brandishing a metal tool in front of a staff member. The male made comments towards the staff member before trying to get behind the counter.
