Woman assaulted in Belfast
Police in west Belfast are appealing for information following a serious assault on a woman in the Grosvenor Road area of the city on Sunday.
Shortly before 7pm the woman was walking close to the Sorella Street area of the Grosvenor Road when she was attacked from behind. She was kicked and dragged to the ground before her attacker tried to pull her into bushes at Dunville Park.
The man also bit the woman before she was able to struggle free and run off. He is described as being aged around 20 to 25, approximately 5’4 tall with short dark hair and was wearing jeans and a grey-coloured jacket.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.
