Second person arrested in connection with murder
A second person has been arrested in connection with the murder of a woman in north Belfast on Monday.
Police confirmed on Tuesday that a woman was currently helping detectives with their enquiries following the discovery of a 45-year-old woman’s body at a house at Brookville Court just before 7.30am yesterday.
A man who was arrested in connection with the find yesterday is still being questioned by police.
Detectives have yet to reveal details about how the woman died. She has not yet been named.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

Man Charged In Possession Of Heroin
A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.

Woman Sexually Assaulted In Omagh
Police have appealed for information after a 24-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Omagh. The attack is thought to have happened in a walkway in the Johnston Park area between 1am and 3am on Sunday (30 November). Detectives want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may be able to assist the investigation.

Man released without charge in Dorrian case
Police have confirmed that one of three men arrested yesterday in connection with the murder of missing 25-year-old Bangor woman, Lisa Dorrian, has been released. The 18-year-old, who has not been named, was released today without charge. Two other men, aged 18 and 23, are still being held for further questioning.

Woman Arrested In England In Connection With Murder Of Katie Simpson
A 20-year-old woman has been arrested in England in connection with the murder of Katie Simpson. Simpson (21) died at Altnagelvin Hospital on 09 August 2020, following an incident at an address in Gortnessy Meadows, L'Derry on 03 August 2020. The arrested woman will be brought back to NI for questioning, police have said.
