Pensioner robbed in Belfast home
Detectives in Belfast are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at the home of a 73-year-old man last night.
Around 9:30pm the pensioner answered a knock on his door in the West Circular road area and a man with a baseball hat and scarf over his face pushed his way in, followed by four other people.
They said they wanted money for drugs and proceeded to search and then wreck the elderly man's home, eventually leaving with a sum of money.
There are no reports of any injuries to the victim.
Anyone with information about the burglary or who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident is asked to contact police at Grosvenor Road on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Police Appeal Following Fatal Crash In Fermanagh
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash in Co Fermanagh. A 42-year-old man died in the crash which happened on the Belfast Road in Brookeborough at around 8.35am on Friday, 08 June. The man was the driver of one of the vehicles involved. Police are appealing to anyone who may have dash can footage to contact them.

Off licence robbed in south Belfast
A man armed with a handgun has robbed an off-licence in the University Road area of south Belfast. Shortly after 7pm, a man entered the premises and produced a handgun and demanded money from the till. The man made off with an undisclosed sum of money.

Body find not suspicious say police
The discovery of the body of a man in west Belfast on Monday is not being treated as suspicious, police have said. The body of the man, named locally as John Masterson who is understood to be in his 50s, was discovered at Albert Street in the Falls Road area at around midnight on Monday.
