Four die in separate road accidents
Four people have died following two separate road accidents on Monday night.
In Co Londonderry two men travelling in the same car died when their vehicle collided with a van on the Magherafelt road outside Tobermore at around 6.15pm.
They were Wilbert Ross, 54, and his 35-year-old son, also called Wilbert. Both men were from Tobermore.
The driver of the van was taken to the Mid-Ulster Hospital however details of his condition have not been released.
A short time later in Co Antrim, two men died when their cars collided on the Moira Road.
The crash took place between the junction of the Gravelhill Road and Church Lane at around 9.30pm. The names of the victims have not yet been released.
Police have confirmed that neither accident occurred in the wintry conditions that later beset the province on Monday.

Woman and child die in separate road accidents
Police are appealing for information after a woman and child died in two separate road accidents overnight. In Belcoo, Co Fermanagh, a three-year-old girl died after being hit by a car. The accident happened on the Railway Road at around 9.15pm on Monday. The girl is the third child to die on Northern Ireland's roads this year.

Wayne Alun-Roberts, aged in his 30's, was a passenger in a car which collided with a lorry on the Roguery Road in Toomebridge.
