Child dies in traffic accident
A child has died following a traffic accident in West Belfast on Thursday.
The young boy was on a mini-motorbike which collided with a car at the junction of Berlin Street and Riga Street off the Shankill Road this morning at around 11.30am.
Police officers have appealed for any witnesses to the accident to come forward.
There were no further details available.

Motorcyclist dies at scene of accident
A motorcyclist is reported to have died at the scene of a road traffic accident near Newcastle in County Down this morning. The motocyclist was involved in a collision with a coach carrying around 20 children to school in Ballynahinch. It is understood that neither the bus driver nor the children were injured in the crash.

Baby girl dies in road traffic accident
A child has been killed in a road traffic accident in Enniskillen. The baby girl, from the Republic of Ireland, was in a car with her two brothers, her childminder and her childminder's daughter, when it collided with a fire engine. The incident happened at around 11.20 am on the Derrylin Road in the town.

Craigavon Set To Benefit From £360,000 Street Lighting Scheme
Craigavon is set to benefit from a new £360,000 street lighting scheme, Infrastructure Minister Nichola Mallon has announced. The scheme, which begins on Monday 9 August 2021, will see the installation of new street lighting columns and replacement underground cables with new LED lights.

Two men killed in road traffic accident
UPDATE: The two men killed in a road traffic accident in County Fermanagh have been named. Both men whi died in the crash were from Enniskillen, they were named as 35-year-old Eugene Moore of The Brook Enniskillen and 23-year-old Fergus Nolan of Cleenish Park Enniskillen. Police said that fatal accident occurred at 11.

It has been a weekend of road accidents and tragedy across the Province with news that a 57-year-old man has died in hospital after a crash in north Belfast on Wednesday morning. Mr Fred Bailie was a pedestrian who was involved in a collision with a car at 8.30am on the Glencairn Road in the Ballygomartin area of the city.
