Call centre jobs boost for west Belfast
Invest Northern Ireland has announced it will be investing up to £6.5 million in a new project which promises to create 300 jobs in west Belfast.
LBM, a marketing company that designs and delivers planning strategies for businesses throughout the UK, will be opening a call centre in Springvale Business Park with an opening date expected to be mid April.
Leslie Morrison, Chief Executive of Invest NI, welcomed the investment and described the project as a positive demonstration of the company’s confidence in the skills and capabilities of the Northern Ireland workforce.
Within four months of the call centre opening, the number of jobs created is expected to rise from 300 to 750 in a project that will generate over £50 million in salaries over the next five years.
LBM Managing Director, Ben Dixon said they chose Belfast because of the access it will give to a talented local workforce and the availability of quality office space.
