Wright expected to be named Ballymena manager
Former Limavady United boss Tommy Wright looks set to be named as new Ballymena United manager on Thursday night.
The former Northern Ireland international goalkeeper resigned as Limavady boss on Monday citing a lack of support locally and the club's failure to apply for a European licence.
He was immediately linked to the Ballymena job following Kenny Shiels' recent departure from the Showground’s hotseat.
Meanwhile, Coleraine pair Pat McAllister and Gerry Flynn have completed their move to Newry City
The duo are expected to be part of the Newry squad that heads to Poland for a friendly competition next month.
Elsewhere, Glentoran manager Roy Coyle is rumoured to be chasing the signature of Larne youngster Jeff Hughes.
The teenage defender is believed to have had talks with Ronnie McFall’s Portadown however Larne boss Jimmy McGeough said he was hopeful that Hughes would still be in his squad for next season.
