Funerals of slurry victims take place
The funerals have taken place of the two men who died when a slurry container burst open at a farm in Co Down on Tuesday .
Kenny Blair, 33, was buried after a service at Finvoy Presbyterian Church in Ballymoney while 21-year-old friend James Wilson was also buried after a service at his home in Cloughmills.
The two men were working on a farm at Ballela, near Katesbridge when the slurry container burst.
Emergency services were called to the farm buildings on the Shanrod Road just after 3pm and a specialist rescue team from Belfast was brought in to retrieve the bodies.
The Dutch firm which manufactured the slurry container are to investigate the cause of the fatal incident.
The Health and Safety Executive and police have also launched investigations.

Two men killed in slurry incident named
The two workers killed following an incident involving a container of slurry in Co Down have been named. The two men, Robert James Wilson, 21, of Cloughmills, and James Kenneth Blair, 33, of Rasharkin, were working on a farm at Ballela, near Katesbridge when the container burst.

Water Service step in to deal with pollution emergency
An emergency tankering operation has had to be carried out following the discovery of an unauthorised discharge into the Killymoon River at Sandholes, Cookstown. An urgent investigation was held at the site after the Water Service received reports of the pollution incident on Tuesday 24 July from the Environment and Heritage Service (EHS).

MLA Welcomes Attitude Change Towards Farm Safety
Ulster Unionist MLA and the party's agriculture spokesperson Jo-Anne Dobson has said attitudes towards farm safety are changing. The Upper Bann MLA added that she welcomed the "sea change" in attitudes following a recent meeting with senior Fire Service officials.
