Family mark missing Lisa’s birthday

The family of murdered Bangor woman Lisa Dorrien today released 26 white balloons to mark her 26th birthday.

Lisa disappeared after a party at a caravan site in Ballyhalbert on 28 February. Her body has yet to be found.

Lisa's parents, John and Patricia, and her sisters, Joanne and Michelle, took part in the tribute.

Joanne said she wanted the people behind the attack to see what they’re going through “so please just tell us where she is and put us out of our misery”.

Loyalist paramilitaries are thought to have been behind Lisa’s murder however last month the Loyalist Volunteer Force (LVF) denied any involvement in the killing.

The family has offered a £10,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of her body.

Man arrested in connection with Lisa murder is released

The 18-year-old man was detained in the Greater Belfast area on Tuesday but has since been released without charge. The man is the fourth person to be questioned in connection with inquiries into the 25-year-old’s killing.
