GAA fan dies in Co Fermanagh tragedy
A post mortem examination is to take place in an attempt to discover how a 19-year-old man died in a lake in Co Fermanagh at the weekend.
Martin McGoldrick’s body was recovered from Coranny Lake near Rosslea by police divers on Sunday. He is believed to have been swimming with his brother and friends shortly before 11pm on Saturday when he went missing.
Mr McGoldrick, from Fintona in Co Tyrone, had been travelling back from Clones after watching Tyrone versus Cavan in a gaelic football fixture when the party decided to stop off at Coranny Lake. It was a short time later that the tragedy is thought to have occurred.
