Two men shot in paramilitary style attack

Two men have been treated in hospital for gunshot wounds to their legs following a paramilitary style shooting in north Belfast on Monday.

The victims, aged 41 and 42, are believed to have been attacked in the Tyndale Grove area of the city shortly before 10pm.

Elsewhere in north Belfast, an out-of-hours GP centre at the Mater Hospital has been attacked by stone throwers on Monday.

A doctor's arm was cut during the incident in which windows in the centre smashed and nearby parked cars were also damaged.

Police have appealed for anyone with information on either incident to contact them on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

A man has been shot in both of his legs in a paramilitary style attack in west Belfast. The incident occurred in the Lady Street area on Tuesday night. Two men made off on foot in the direction of McDonnell Street, according to the police.

Man And Child Escape Shooting Unharmed
A man and a child have escaped uninjured after two shots were fired at a house in north Belfast on Monday evening. The PSNI said the man and child were in the property at Westland Way at about 23:50 on Monday night, when the man heard two shots. He went to the door and observed two strike marks.

Teenager beaten in paramilitary-style attack
Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was beaten in a paramilitary-style attack in Londonderry last night. The 18-year-old man suffered injuries to his arms, legs and stomach after being beaten with a nail-studded baseball bat. The incident occurred outside a community centre in the Ballymagowan area of the city, on Wednesday night.
