Victim hospitalised in paramilitary style shooting
A 38-year-old man has been treated in hospital following a paramilitary style shooting in north Belfast on Sunday.
The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the right leg during the incident which occurred in the Westland area of the city shortly after 12 noon.
Police have appealed to anyone with information about the incident to contact them at Tennent Street on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Investigation Launched Into 'Paramilitary Style Shooting'
The PSNI have launched an investigation after a man was shot in both legs on Sunday. It is understood that a 24-year-old was in a "paramilitary style shooting" in Flax Street, north Belfast. He is being treated in hospital, where his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.
