Two girls seriously injured in road crash
Two young girls have been injured in a road traffic accident in Co Antrim on Wednesday.
The girls were passengers in a car which collided with a people carrier, which contained a family of six, between the Larne Road roundabout and the Broughshane Road junction near Ballymena at around 8.30pm.
One of the girls is seriously ill in hospital, while the other is in a stable condition. No-one else was seriously injured.
Meanwhile, a man who died in a road accident in Antrim on Monday has been named.
Jaye Devine, 26, from Castle Park in the town, was killed when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car on Monday evening.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed either of the accidents to contact them on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
