Home damaged in petrol bomb attack
A man and a woman have escaped injury in a petrol bomb attack on a house in County Armagh on Sunday evening.
Two petrol bombs were thrown at the house in Festival Road in Portadown. One device was thrown through the window of a utility room causing smoke damage. A second device struck a garage door causing minor scorch damage.
The family have blamed the attack on the UVF. In Februrary 2000 Mrs Ann Robb's son Andrew, 19, and his friend aged 18, were victims of a loyalist faction in Protadown. Mrs Robb has said that the UVF will not intimidate her out of her home.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact detectives at Lurgan on 028 38325144 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
