Three people escape injury in bomb attack
Three people including a three-year-old boy have escaped injury following a pipe bomb attack in Co Antrim early this morning.
The device exploded on the window sill of the property in Carnany Drive, Ballymoney, shortly after 2am.
Two pieces of steel were embedded in the living room ceiling and in a settee, and a car parked in the driveway was also damaged.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
Elsewhere, police in Lisburn have appealed for information following a paint bomb attack on a house in the Old Warren Estate early on Wednesday morning.
Two car tyres were also slashed during the attack however no-one was injured.
A man wearing a grey hooded top and trousers was seen running towards Longstone Street. Police believe the attack is linked to a number of others in the area in recent weeks.

House Damaged In Petrol Bomb attack
A house in Larne has been damaged in a petrol bomb attack, according to police. It happened on Church Way at around 10.30pm on Wednesday. A man was in the house at the time but was unhurt. Minor damage was caused to the property and a window was smashed. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Injured In Arson Attack In L'Derry
Police have issued an appeal for information following an arson incident in L'Derry. A man is being treated in hospital for injuries he sustained while trying to extinguish a fire on a vehicle outside a house in the Sevenoaks area of the city in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Four People Released Over Under-Car Bomb Attack In L'Derry
Four people arrested over an attempted under-car bomb attack on a police officer have been released unconditionally. The device was placed under a car in Eglinton, L'Derry, on 18 June 2015. Three men, aged 29, 38 and 46, and a 32-year-old woman were arrested in Belfast, L'Derry an Pomeroy, however they have since been released.
