Stabbing being treated as attempted murder
Police are treating the stabbing of a man in Co Antrim on Wednesday as attempted murder.
The victim sustained face and neck injuries after being attacked with a sharp instrument as he answered his door in the Eglinton Street area of Portrush shortly after 10pm.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
Meanwhile, six men arrested in connection with the murder of former UDA chief Jim Gray are still be questioned by detectives.
Gray, 47, was shot dead outside his father's home in east Belfast on Tuesday evening.
Police have confirmed that the involvement of the UDA was a "major line of inquiry" in the investigation.

Attempted Carjacking In West Belfast
Police are investigating an attempted carjacking in west Belfast on Tuesday, November 19th. At around 5:30pm, a man entered a parked car at Hillhead Court and attempted to steal it. A woman passenger was assaulted when she resisted the man's demands. The suspect, described as a man in his 20s wearing all black, fled the scene on foot.

Detectives return to scene of Gray murder
Detectives have returned to the spot where former UDA chief Jim Gray was murdered last week. Police handed out leaflets and stopped motorists driving near the scene on the Clarawood estate on Tuesday, exactly one week after the 47-year-old was gunned down outside his father's home.

Six released in Gray murder probe
Six people arrested in connection with the murder of former UDA chief Jim Gray have been released by police. Three men were released without charge early on Saturday, while the fourth man was freed later on. Two women arrested in connection with the murder were released last Thursday.

Six people have been arrested by police in connection with the death of former UDA leader Jim Gray on Tuesday. Gray, 47, is believed to have answered the door of his father's house in east Belfast at about 8pm where he was confronted by two gunmen who shot him.
