Hundreds of new job opportunities in Ireland
Recent immigration trends are on all of our minds at the moment. How much of an effect is it going to have on the Irish job market? What sort of effect?
Ireland’s population is at its highest since 1871. Last year’s population figures increased by 64,900 or 1.6%, the nation’s net immigration (balance between the inward and outward migration) had a greater effect on the increase than the natural increase (birth and death rates). Recent figures indicate 9% of the people present were not born in Ireland.
A positive twist on this circumstance is that locals, being native English speakers, are presented with the chance to profit from this movement; teaching English to foreign nationals, by receiving a TEFL diploma, through classroom, online and take home grammar modules. i-to-i, a Waterford-based organisation offers TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) courses throughout the year, which are run nation-wide.
To bring your dream job even closer, i-to-i is offering €100 OFF the 80hr TEFL diploma once booked this January bringing your diploma qualification down to the cost of €450! After you receive a TEFL diploma, i-to-i will advise you in the direction to becoming a private tutor.
TEFL courses are given almost every weekend in convenient locations all over Ireland. For information or to request a brochure, visit the i-to-i website at www.weekendtefl.ie or for further information call 058 40050.
If you would like to find out a little more about i-to-i TEFL, organised paid teaching placements or volunteering abroad, information sessions are held regularly county-wide.
i-to-i also offers many volunteer projects for eager people looking to travel abroad, for more information visit the i-to-i website at www.i-to-i.com.
