Local business woman builds property success
Local Business Woman, Marlene McFeely, of Property Services Plus, hit the press once again this week with an exciting and innovative approach to the problems of buying property.
“I was not surprised by the amount of help and assistance available to you if you wish to sell your home, office, or piece of land,” she stated. “There has always been an estate agent to provide information, help and advice to the seller with no-one to guide, direct and advise the purchaser.
“I found more and more people coming to me who wished to receive similar professional advice on what, where, how and when to buy, this led me to develop Property Services Plus an exclusive business to help the purchaser through the maze of buying a home, office or piece of land.”
The idea was such a success that Marlene was contacted by UTV's 'Home Sweet Home' Programme wishing to investigate the opportunities being offered, by Marlene at Property Services Plus, to those people wishing to relocate back to Northern Ireland.
The programme to be shown this week follows Marlene from the time she meets the client at the airport through the property search, viewings, liaising with solicitors, surveyor's etc. right through to handing over the keys.
“What we did on the programme which was incidentally a real life situation, with nothing staged, was to identify the requirements, lifestyle and needs of the client and then use our knowledge, expertise and contacts in the market to ensure a satisfactory result,” she said.
“Caroline had given me very clear guidelines at the start of her consultation - size, style, area, requirements etc and of course budget - we worked closely with Caroline each step of the way helping and guiding her in her search until she found the property she wished to purchase. Caroline was a pleasure to work with.
“We had a lot of fun filming with the crew and Mike Nesbitt, everyone made us very welcome and relaxed and our client was delighted with the property we had found for her.” said Marlene.
The UTV programme is just the beginning for Property Services Plus as alongside the programme they are producing a magazine of the series, Home Sweet Home, which will feature Marlene's business and identify the opportunities her business offers to buyers, regardless of whether they are relocating, developing or buying a home for themselves.
Catch the Home Sweet Home programme on Thursday March 9 at 7.30pm or on Sunday March 12 at 5.20pm.
