Suspicious fire destroys Derry farm equipment
Police in County Londonderry are appealing for information following a suspicious fire at a farm last night.
The blaze is reported to have broken out at around 10pm at the farm in the Ardmore area of the city.
Five tractors and a shed were destroyed during the fire and it has also been reported that superglue was poured into the locks of a house at the farm.
The occupants of the property were not at home when the inferno started and no one was injured.
Police have asked for anyone who may have information in connection to the incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

MLA Welcomes Attitude Change Towards Farm Safety
Ulster Unionist MLA and the party's agriculture spokesperson Jo-Anne Dobson has said attitudes towards farm safety are changing. The Upper Bann MLA added that she welcomed the "sea change" in attitudes following a recent meeting with senior Fire Service officials.

ASSEMBLY CREATE AWARD TO HONOUR FIRE SERVICE
THE Northern Ireland Fire Service is to receive the first ever award given by the province's devolved assembly. An illuminated scroll is to be presented to Chief Fire Officer John McClelland on Tuesday, by assembly speaker Lord Alderdice in tribute to the sacrifice made by fire fighters over the years.
