Funeral of Steven Colwell takes place
The funeral has taken place of the man shot dead by police in County Down last weekend.
23-year-old Steven Colwell suffered a fatal gunshot wound after the stolen car which he was driving failed to stop at a police checkpoint in Ballynahinch in the early hours of Easter Sunday morning.
Mr Colwell, was originally from the Shankhill Road area of Belfast, but had recently moved to an address in Cullybackey.
The funeral service was a private affair held at his family home at Forthriver Link in Belfast before he was finally laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery.
The circumstances behind the shooting are currently being investigated by the police ombudsman's office and the Northern Ireland policing board are to question Chief Constable Sir Hugh Orde over the incident at a meeting on May 3.

The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Chief Constable Sir Hugh Orde is to be questioned by the Policing Board over the shooting of 23-year-old Steven Colwell at a police checkpoint last weekend. It is understood that the Chairman of the Policing Board, Sir Desmond Rea, along with Board representatives will ask the Chief Constable for an account of what exactly happened.

Police Appeal After 'Shot Fired' In North Belfast
Police have launched an investigation after reports of a shot being fired in north Belfast. No-one is believed to have been injured in the incident in the Farringdon Court area on Thursday. Police are keen to establish what happened and are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Woman Arrested Over Peggy O'Hara Funeral
A 51-year-old woman has been arrested in relation to offences at the wake and funeral of Peggy O'Hara in July. The woman was arrested in L'Derry and has been detained at Musgrave Police Station. Peggy O'Hara was the mother of an INLA member who died in a hunger strike in Long Kesh in 1981.
