Man in critical condition after Newry crash
A man is in a critical condition following a road traffic collision involving three vehicles in Newry, County Down yesterday evening.
Two cars and a van were involved in the incident, which happened on the Dublin Road in Newry, shortly after 10pm.
Police confirmed that a man is in a critical condition in hospital, and a woman has also been treated in hospital for her injuries.
It is believed that one of the cars involved was stolen, and a man has been arrested.
Detectives in Newry have asked for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Five die on NI roads over the weekend
Five people have died on Northern Ireland's roads over the weekend. In Co Tyrone last night, two people died when a car and a four-wheel-drive collided just outside the village of Augher. A woman passenger in the car is still in critical condition following the accident.

Man Critical After Being Hit By Car In Co Tyrone
A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being struck by a car in Co Tyrone. The accident happened on the Strabane Road in Newtownstewart on Monday, 24 October. He is currently in intensive care at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. The road has been reopened.

Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A 35-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. The victim, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition after being assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. The suspect is due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Monday, 17 October.
