Woman robbed outside east Belfast café
Detectives in east Belfast have appealed for information after a woman was robbed yesterday afternoon.
Police have said that the incident happened as the woman made her way to her car after finishing work at an Internet café on the Woodstock Road area of the city at around 4.30pm.
It is understood that the woman was approached by two men, who pushed her up against her car before making off with her handbag, which contained a sum of cash and some personal belongings.
The robbers are both described as being around 6ft in height, wearing black bomber jackets, and had red, white and blue scarves covering their faces.
Both men are also believed to have been wearing baseball caps, one black and the other white in colour.
The woman was not injured during the robbery, but was left badly shaken by the ordeal.
Police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have any information in relation to it, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Elderly Woman Robbed In Co Down
An elderly woman has been robbed in Bangor, Co Down. The incident happened in Castle Park on Monday, 13 June. A man stole the lady's purse and made off in the direction of Abbey Park. The suspect is being described as very tall, and was wearing a black hooded top with blue markings. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police in County Londonderry have appealed for information after a woman was robbed yesterday evening. The incident happened at around 7.30pm, when a woman aged in her 30s was approached by three males as she made her way along the Railway Road area of Coleraine. The woman was forced to the ground and the robbers made off with her handbag.
