Summer Salsa shakedown at Rushmere
A weekend of family fun comes to Rushmere Shopping Centre this Saturday with the launch of 'Summer Fun at Rushmere', a series of arts and music events featuring some of Northern Ireland's finest talent.
Rushmere shopping centre has joined forces with Latinomaniac, a dancing group from Madrid, to kick off in spectacular style a weekend of entertainment known as 'Summer Fun at Rushmere'. Latinomaniac who will be making their first appearance in Craigavon are to perform salsa and cha-cha-cha for shoppers.
The entertainment is planned over two weekends beginning on Saturday 10 June and will include beauty tips from the professionals at Debenhams, dancing lessons for shoppers, Sainsbury's cookery tips, live music and the chance for shoppers to win £200 worth of shopping vouchers. There will even be circus performances to entertain children and help customers juggle their shopping.
"We are encouraging everyone, over the weekend, to take the opportunity to visit Rushmere Shopping Centre and see a dazzling performance by salsa dancers Latinomaniac," said Harry Crooks, Centre Manager of Rushmere Shopping Centre. "We will be truly celebrating summer fun at Rushmere this weekend with entertainment which will appeal to all ages".

Police have arrested a man in his 30s following an assault at the Buttercrane Shopping Centre in Newry. PSNI received a report that a man in his 40s was headbutted and sustained a serious injury to his eye during an altercation on Tuesday 9 July at around 12.15pm.
