Two arrested in connection with 1994 murders
Two people have today been arrested in connection with the murder of six men in County Down in 1994.
The man and the woman were arrested in the greater Belfast area this morning and are currently being held for questioning at the serious crime suite in Antrim.
The arrests are connected with the Loughinisland massacre, when six Catholic men were gunned down by loyalist paramilitaries as they watched a football match in the Heights Bar, Loughinisland, on June 18 1994.
The UVF was blamed for the attack.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping

Man Charged In Possession Of Heroin
A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.

Four men arrested in connection with right-wing extremism have been released. The men, aged 29, 30, 36 and 46, were arrested following house searches in Ballymena and Coleraine on Wednesday, 26 October. The men have been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

Four Released Over 1994 Murder Charges
Four men arrested by detectives investigating the murders of three Catholic men in north Belfast 20 years ago have been released. Three men, aged 40, 47 and 51, were arrested on Monday morning as part of Operation Stafford, a PSNI investigation into murders and other serious crimes carried out by the UVF in the area.

A man has been arrested over the murder of two Catholic men in Belfast almost 20 years ago. Gary Convie, 24, and Eamon Fox, 44, were both shot as they sat in a car at a building site in North Queen Street in May 1994. The gunman used a sub-machine gun in the attack.
