Post-mortem due on Newtownabbey body
A post-mortem examination is due to be carried today on the body of a man found in Newtownabbey yesterday morning.
The body was discovered by a council workman close to a shelter in the middle of Carnmoney Cemetery East at around 8am yesterday morning.
The workman said that when he found the body, there was what looked like a knife sticking out of the chest.
However, police have said that they are not treating the death as murder at this stage.
As yet, the man's identity is not known and detectives are still trying to establish the circumstances surrounding the death.

Attempted Carjacking In West Belfast
Police are investigating an attempted carjacking in west Belfast on Tuesday, November 19th. At around 5:30pm, a man entered a parked car at Hillhead Court and attempted to steal it. A woman passenger was assaulted when she resisted the man's demands. The suspect, described as a man in his 20s wearing all black, fled the scene on foot.

Man Extradited From Ireland To Face Serious Charges
A 33-year-old man has been extradited from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland to face serious charges. The man is accused of assault causing harm, coercive control, contravention of a safety order, theft, and possession of a weapon. The alleged offences occurred in the Monaghan area between 2020 and 2021.
