Police investigate infant's death
Police are investigating the sudden death of a young child in Londonderry.
It is understood that the infant was found dead at his home in Currynierin in the Waterside area of the city yesterday.
The incident was reported to police at around 10pm last night.
The cause of death has not yet been established, however police have said that it may have been the result of a tragic accident.
A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out later today.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police Investigate Tragic Carriageway Death
The busy A2 Bangor Road was closed to traffic heading towards Bangor at the Holywood Exchange junction this morning as a tragic incident on a traffic flyover was probed. The road has now reopened after the PSNI earlier appealed for the public to be patient as officers investigated the circumstances surrounding the death of a 31-year-old woman.
