Three remanded on assault charges
Three men have been remanded in custody accused of assaulting a doorman at a Belfast pub.
Brian Bratty, 34, from Castlerobin Road was charged with causing grevious bodily harm with intent and affray.
Two other men, Mark McKelvey, 23, from Ballycoan Road and Alan Lowery, 24, from Castlerobin Road were charged with aiding and abetting grevious bodily harm with intent and causing an affray.
All three were remanded in custody following an appearance at Befast Magistrates Court.
The man assaulted outside a pub in Bedford Street shortly after 7.15pm on Saturday is in a stable condition in hospital.

Police Appeal After Man Attacked In Co Antrim
Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked in Ballymena, Co Antrim. The assault happened in the North Road area at around 3.30am on Sunday, 29 January. A gang of four or five men attacked the victim, aged 37. He was taken to hospital where his condition has been described as "serious".
